By Road

From Helston follow the B3083 towards the Lizard, at a roundabout turn left on to the B3293( end of Culdrose airfield) follow this road until the next roundabout  and turn right to remain  on the B3293 and continue for  approximately 5 miles, turn right, just before Zoar garage for 1 mile then turn left , in a mile the campsite will be on the left. The road is initially straight but does narrow and has a number of bends.

Important

Touring caravans & camper vans are advised to use this route and not to go through Coverack Village.

The campsite can be reached from Coverack village but the road is narrow in places with some steep gradients and sharp bends and is also very busy in the summer months.  Approaching from Coverack village is not suitable for touring caravans or large camper vans.

By Public Transport

National Express do have a service to Helston but more frequent services are to Truro and Penzance. There is a local bus service from Truro to Coverack L2 operated by Firstgroup.com 

Train- The nearest train stations are Truro and Redruth, Truro does have a direct bus service, from Redruth take the bus to Helston then another bus to Coverack. Please check times with the local operator. 

From the bus stop it is a short walk up through Lovers walk to the campsite or a longer walk through the village and up school hill pass the school and Penmarth farm and the campsite is on the right. To access the campsite from Lovers walk, from the bus stop head towards the harbour, after passing the church, take the lane Chymbloth way, just where the lane becomes a path, go through the gate on the left and head diagonally across the field to a gap in the wall, continue across this field to a gate then follow up Lovers walk to the campsite.

For those who are walking the coastal path, the campsite is just a few minutes walk from the path. After passing Black head ( walking from the lizard to Coverack, the  SW coast path has two routes take the higher route sigh posted Coverack sculpture park turn left when you reach the road, at the junction turn left and the campsite will be on the right. (just a few minutes’ walk once you hit the road). Walkers from the direction of Porthoustock and St Keverne should follow the instructions above for bus users.
